Bliss Kid Yoga, a nonprofit that works to advance yoga and mindfulness practice for young children, is one of few organizations offering training on trauma-informed yoga instruction for preschool and elementary age learners. They currently offer in-depth instructor-led training designed to be delivered to fellow instructors in a face-to-face environment. Bliss Kid Yoga wanted to adapt this training into a self-paced, online format to make it more widely accessible.
I worked with Bliss Kid Yoga to set up a Learning Management System (LearnDash LMS for WordPress) and adapt one of their courses, "Trauma Informed Language for Children's Yoga," into an online learning experience. Using this first course as a guide, the team at Bliss Kid Yoga will be able to more easily create future courses on their own, helping them bring their expertise on trauma-informed yoga to more teachers.
